Spring is quite possibly one of my favourite times of the year. Yes, Autumn and Halloween have a special place in my heart, but nothing is more beautiful than the flowers blooming in the Spring sun. My favourites for this past season have been relatively easy as I have experienced and witnessed lots of new things so I figured it was time for me to share them with you.
Disney Store Animator PJ’s: I managed to pick up the sought after Animator PJ’s from the Disney Store and I absolutely love them more than anything. They are so cute and perfect for Disney holidays – I’m saving mine for when I stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in June. I’ll link them here.
The Greatest Showman Movie and Soundtrack: This one feels slightly outdated and like I’m late to the party but when I did my last favourites I hadn’t actually seen the movie yet. I saw the film in February and am still obsessed two months later. The soundtrack is all I’ve listened to in the car and I cannot wait for it to be out on DVD.
Herbalism: If you’ve been reading my blog for a while then you will know I am always struggling with my skin and am always looking for a new face mask or wash to try in the hope of having perfect skin. When I was younger I used to get a lot of black heads so I ventured into LUSH with my mum and they suggested ‘Herbalism’. It’s a green face mask that I pop on before I get into the shower and just wash off before using my normal skin care products. I hadn’t used it for a long time but saw it in my bedroom and figured hey why not and I honestly have fallen in love with it all over again. It works absolute wonders for all of those annoying little bumpy spots under your skin.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer: I’ve used this concealer in the past as a dupe for my Collection concealer and enjoyed it back then but have never used it as my staple make-up bag concealer. Although I love my Collection concealer I feel like the shades aren’t quite a perfect match for my skin so I use a mixture of the Rimmel and the Collection concealers together now and it works perfectly.
Nerve: I have been wanting to watch Nerve for a while but was putting it off as I kept telling myself I’d read the book first. Recently I haven’t had much time to read and when I have had time all I’ve wanted to do is crash in bed and watch YouTube so I figured I might as well just watch the movie. It was so much better than I anticipated – if you haven’t seen Nerve yet you definitely should give it a go.
It Ends With Us: I recently read ‘It Ends With Us’ and I became so attached to this book and the characters I didn’t want it to end. It’s a book that deals with love, abuse and finding your way. It is super emotional but a really amazing read.
Caramel Green Tea: I’ve been trying to get back into exercising and eating ‘relatively’ healthy so after every exercise activity I do I’ve been having a Twinings Caramel Green Tea and a banana. Before I would drink the Peppermint Green Tea and that was okay but the Caramel flavour definitely eradicates the grim overpowering green tea taste.
New Look: After receiving a gift card for a range of places I ventured into New Look and was surprised with how many cute items of clothing I found. I started to chat to the employee on the till and she went on to tell me how New Look is now under new management and they are vowing to have 80% of the items as under £20 – which I find so amazing! I have now gone on to spend pretty much the majority of my voucher in there and have grabbed some super cute holiday clothes which I am so excited to wear!
Tim Tracker YouTube Channel: It’s no secret that I am always looking for new Disney orientated YouTube channels so when I discovered Tim Tracker who uploads EVERY DAY and regularly visits all of the Orlando theme parks I knew I was going to enjoy watching their content regularly.
New Glasses: I have been waiting to get new glasses for ages now so when I made my appointment at Specsavers I was so excited. When I first got them they made me feel super disorientated, ill and confused but I managed to stick it out and now I can’t take them off. For once I’m actually wearing my glasses more than my contact lenses – something that I don’t think has ever happened before!
