There is no escaping the fact that Christmas is just around the corner. I can’t believe how quickly the year has flown by but I could not be more excited for the festive season. Usually, Halloween is my favourite celebration of the year but this year I’ve been extremely overly excited for Christmas.

I know it’s premature but I definitely have no shame for my hyper and excited nature. For weeks I’ve been excited to put up the tree and for the last few days I’ve been really endorsing the season by listening to Christmas CDs and starting to buy presents.

Since finding out that I’m moving to Florida and will be there for Christmas next year in the 20 degree heat, I have been taking advantage of all things that are special about Christmas here in the UK…such as snow! It started snowing as I was driving to work yesterday and although it made for a lot of traffic I couldn’t contain my excitement.

I’ve already tried a few festive hot chocolates; my favourite so far has surprisingly been BB’s toasted marshmallow hot chocolate, which I cannot emphasise enough how amazing it is and how it actually tastes like toasted marshmallows. This year I was lucky enough to have the time off to go to Norwich’s light switch on which was so much fun (all of the pictures featured are from that night). For a while I’ve wanted to try Christopher’s Crepes (a little stall in Norwich) and what’s more festive than warm chocolate in pancakes? If you haven’t already you need to get yourself to this stall to try some pancakes, it was a cold night and it was a lovely sweet treat that warmed me up instantly.

Last year I set the crazy task for myself of writing ‘Blogmas’ so a blog post every day from December 1st-24th. Sadly, this year I have decided to opt out of it. Despite how fun it was my busy schedule barely gives me the time to write a blog post now, let alone one every day for 24 days. So apologies if anyone was hoping for a repeat of last year, but regardless I will be writing a range of festive themed blog posts. However, I have added a Christmas theme to my blog and will constantly be flooding Instagram with pictures, so make sure you follow the links below to keep updated.
